Hello all,
Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve the following problem? -
Audio, DVD sound is fine on initial startup e.g first thing to go to work.
On subsequent startup's more often than not I get a couple of seconds of sound then silence.
It doesn't matter if it is radio or DVD the same thing happens.
I still retain all radio stations on the display & control functions in DVD mode.
Bluetooth telephony sound works fine, both inbound and outbound calls.
Unticking the Bluetooth box in settings makes no difference.
At first I thought it may somehow be temperature related but I've experienced it at all times of day/night and ambient temperatures.
Would a software update possibly solve? if so how do I find what level of software the car currently has?
Dodgy/loose earth? - a client experienced something similar on one of his non-Mercedes cars.
The car is a 2012 S350d LWB with standard audio.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Chris
