Hello guys
Recently had a problem with my w222 s350 2019 AC. I just bought it and the ac was working fine and was cold. All of a sudden after a couple of days of purchase, it started blowing air that was around room temperature. Went to mercedes and they diagnosed it with a a faulty AC compressor that needs replacement . Problem is that the compressor from Mercedes costs £2000+. Part number: A0008301604. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue and managed to fix it without replacing the compressor? Any thoughts welcome
Thanks

Probably why the previous owner sold it......just got it recharged before he sold it to cover the fault.....I'm assuming it was a private sale or you would be straight back to the dealer?

Private sale unfortunately:/

Shop around and google the part number.
I know it's a different car, Had new AC compressor fitted to Ford Fusion was 400£

Hi, I feel your pain! If you've read my thread you'll see I have the same issue. Long story short - MB offered 31% goodwill bringing the cost down to approx £2800 which the supplying dealer decided to pay half - either that or take the car back. I decided to accept.
No other 3rd party compressor available so you are stuck with having MB fit it. I checked local MB specialists and their costs were more than MB.
My car is currently with MB Colchester who have replaced the compressor and 2 pipes but have not got enough gas to refill, so with them now until Tuesday!
