CL55 AMG
Hi,

Looking for a mint CL55K AMG.

Had a deposit down on a really nice 2003 example with 58k but it fell through last minute, was really gutted and haven't been able to find another example like it.

The CL i almost purchased was fully loaded, it had every available extra at the time so ideally i want the same and it must be black. Just to confirm those extras: TV tuner, telephone prep, 19" alloys, distronic, keyless go, linguatronic and rear blind.

I want it to be totally standard (no debadging or rebadging) with FMBSH and obviously in very good condition. The lower the mileage the better, don't really want anything over 70k

In a position to buy now so please contact me if your car fits the bill or if you know someone else who is interested in selling.

Thanks
Jason

stealth advert me thinks.

did you two join at the same time from the same pc?

have a friend who just rebuild cls 55 AMG LHD from new rescuing one from germany, has been given an award by mercedes for his achievement i am sure u can twist his arm for 40k for the car although it is his baby it is in black too!!

I saw a massive specc'd 39k mile silver CL55AMG. Top money, iirc £16k. Every conceivable option. Indi ""sports specialist...only the best of the best etc...". I was there on a different matter.

Guy there looking, his "knows everything" car nut friend just kept saying how awesome condition it was and to buy now quick before it went.

I looked it over. Incorrect colour-matching of drivers seat smart repair. C pillar had some of the crappiest masking and spraying technique (silver car) that I've ever seen outside of the under £3k car area.

Shocking, I was appalled. I winced when I saw it. I heard his mate say something like "ignore that bloke (me) he's trying to put you off as he wants it...". I walked away shaking my head. Got a call later from the buyer (he'd nabbed my number off my van i suppose). Asked me to source and inspect one for him. It seems his "friend" also knew the indi dealer, although tried to cover that fact up.

39k miles? I doubt it very very much. More like a nine-grand max car to me.

Been looking at w220's at the moment - what is wrong with people? Do they honestly think that, after outright lies on the phone, I will change my mind when I get there and see that X, Y and Z does not work; that the car has had shoddy respray, that the "FSH" is nothing of the sort.

The worst so far - traders.

Aggggggggggggggh

dont go there !!!

it gets even worse at £30k for an Audi q7. "yeah yeah its got heated seats, yeah its leather"
:(

What gets me is the contradictory "it was £100,000 in 2000" followed by "it is 10 years old, what do you expect".

For the (premium) price, I expect things to be working and not have wasted my time travelling around the various counties, especially when mine was a fraction of their asking price and with every single thing done and accounted for...with receipts.

So frustrating.
