- S55L AMG Beast and S600L Monster!
After buying my first Merc a few weeks ago (W220 S55L AMG), and spending a load of money (relative to the low purchase price of the car!) fixing loads of niggles (lights, PSE pump, heater blower etc), refurbing alloys, replacing panels and de-rusting lots of bodywork... I've decided I quite like the car.
So I've bought another. This one's for me (the AMG is actually the wife's car).
In line with my car buying policy (minimum 4-litre, minimum 8-cylinder) I've ended up with a W221 (pre-facelift) S600L with lots of bells and whistles (not all - will be looking at Distronic and Linguatronic retrofits maybe).
Got this beast for £19k...

Now, the problem I have is, what do I call it? I have a V8 Toyota Landcruiser Amazon in black (which is called "the Black Beauty"); the S55L is called "the Silver Arrow", and my supercharged Jag XJR (which the S600 is replacing) is called "the Green Goddess". What do I call another black car? Can't really call it "black monster" or "black beast"... was thinking of Dark Destroyer, or maybe Black Shadow (too Rolls-y?)... any suggestions? Sensible ones considered, humurous / rude ones for amusement only!
