If they are VW fitment with stud diameter of 100 how can they be genuine Mercedes ?
And is it my imagination or are the tyres too narrow at 245 for the rim width.

Yup, stretched tyres are a Euro styling thing. Also means they provide zero rim protection, so generally they're kerbed to hell.

It says genuine mercedes so they are 5x112 and come with the adapters to make them fit VW at 5x100.

And yes the "euro look" stretched tyres, I quite like it, to some degree, does look good on V Dubs.

If one is a carefull parker then they are good otherwise kerbing is very likely with those tyres even

There is something not right about these, I emailed the seller to check if the fronts and rears were the same width, and apparently the fronts are 8" and the rears 9.5".

The majority of these were 8.5" et18 front and 10" et17 rear.
They did make a small number of 8.5" wheels for a w124 et30.

These have been split and messed around with, probably different outer and inner rims, not sure they would fit any mercedes without seeing more information.

Yes, see them everywhere in Stuttgart. Not to my taste and as stated no rim protection. As witnessed by the trashed wheels on very nice Mercs

I think it means they have been adapted. Look how far in the wheelbolts are to the centre caps.

Why would you sell these in the UK when they are based in Germany. They're worth more than double there!
