What Caliper Colour ?

HI MB Club, I have a lovely Hyacinth Red C Class Convertible. I have stunning 19" alloys which add to the look but unfortunately the silver calipers look a bit tired and oxidized. I am going to get them painted and refreshed but I don't know what colour to go for ? Red is popular suggestion but as the car is red then I would like a colour to stand out, but not like 'in your face' (like Lamborghini green). I was thinking a nice yellow with black Mercedes Benz lettering ? I want to throw this out and see what other people think please ?

Personally I would avoid yellow with metallic red, although my taste is questionable at very best

I would go for Himalaya Grey or similar.

How about a colour match to the Hyacinth Red, would obviously have to be heat resistant finish.

Hi, if you really want them to stand out, I'd go with the yellow with black lettering, love to see it. I think "Big Red" refurb and paint in any colour.

Just fancied something that stands out but is not in your face..... seems like grey/silver is the theme so far.

IMO if you have non-standard, brightly (candy) coloured callipers, it screams boy racer and desperate. Those silver units look good.

Yes, I had thought of that but wanted a colour to stand out but still be discrete. I see yellow calipers on Porsches' etc and they look great being an opposite colour but do not take over the overall effect of the car. Thanks for the suggestion though

Exactly that. Looks great on a Porsche. Your choice of course but your car seems way too classy by design.
