What do these arrows mean?

Hello. What do these arrows mean? I suspect something to do with the gearbox. I've looked through the manual but can't find anything or I've just missed it. Thanks.

Well Mark it is showing that you are in D1 and if you move the gearstick up you will be in Neutral and again you will be in Reverse,and the C means you are in comfort mode and the P is I suspect if you hit the end of the stalk you will be in park,

It’s easily done, I’ve not long realised that the arrow where the fuel gauge is tells you which side the filler’s on!
