What is going on?!

Item 4641108478 on eBay.

I bid £10.50 on this because there was £4.60 postage to pay and the cost of the item new from a dealer is only £30.

Just looked now and the bids are up to £51.50, which means £56 with postage - crazy!

Anyone else seen this sort of thing before?

As graham says it happens a lot.I bought these 2 items from the dealer last week Radio keys I paid £1.66+vat and the cluster puller was £8.30+vat a vast improvement on these ebay links

I was hoping the old "dealers are cheaper than you think" would apply the other day, as I'm in the market for new wipers on both cars. £36 per set!! eek!!

The auction has finished now - final price £97 + £4.60 delivery = £101.60!!

I balked at paying £30 to the dealer for one of these. Just shows there's one born every minute!

only when hes paid for it - which may not happen - thats not an uncommon problem with ebay when people bid stupidly.
