I did try and point out to the seller that this is not a bi-turbo, but they're not having any of it.

It's a bi-turbo apparently as it's on the dial, as can clearly be seen in the photo.....

So it's a CL600 with an instrument cluster lifted off a CL63? I would query if the mileage is genuine (although it's possible to change the dial face without changing the instrument cluster, there are sticker kits on eBay)

I don't think they have a clue what they are selling. I just told them they should be more accurate in their description. I used to have a facelift CL600 with the TT V12 and I can't for the life of me remember what the dials looked like! I do know my engine wasn't the same as the one in their photos though :)
So ither a dial swap or a sticker.

Regardless, a CL600 with the TT V12 engine won't say 'AMG' on the dial.... so the dial can't be original even if the car was a TT (which it isn't)

Simple answer, we are many , and if even half of us 'contact seller' via the ad and point out that we (I) are convinced it's not a BiTurbo maybe he will change the listing ?
The auction has now ended, I am sure it's still had 6 days to run?

I sent the seller a message about the description of the car, there was no reply!

It has, however, been realisted where the seller now says that apparently it isn't a BiTurbo despite the instrument cluster saying so.

They still claim that it is an AMG and state that they are not prepared to spend any more money on the car although it now has a fault with a (oil pressure?) sensor, a non working radio (a fuse!) and the central locking doesn't seem to be working!

Drives without fault then lists 3 faults!

Despite being 24 years old it is nearly 30!

What a car to pootle around the Island in though, you'd have to admit (if working, obvs)

Opening it up on Military road on the cliff tops would be fun.

But a brave pill for sure

This car should be listed as a can of worms. I wish the seller luck , but I wish the buyer even better luck.
Open door, open wallet.

Cry gently in a corner as the suspension,, electrics, coil packs etc etc fail one by one.

As the seller states, it was a £100, 000 car new (was it?) and parts prices now will reflect that original high sales price.

Is it my eyes or is there something a bit misaligned on the front end?
Difficult to tell as the pictures are very poor but I wouldn't be surprised if a car with such a long bonnet hasn't had damage to the front in 24 years of driving.
