Which diff oil?

I've just done a full service aside from the diff oil. The service sheet says:
Rear axle: Perform oil change (With code 471 ( Mechanical locking differential ) or with code 467 (Electronic locking differential)

I don't know which diff I have, is there a way to tell? I'm also not sure if it's telling me that there's a different oil for each or if it's the same oil and it just needs doing whichever diff I have?
Anyone enlighten me?
TIA

Use Opie oils website to search it .
It’s probably this one ??

Brilliant thanks
Had online chat with them and they recommended same
Slightly cheaper from them although I'm not sure about shipping charges yet

For anyone else searching:
There are up to 4 different diffs, same oil for all of them, just the capacity changes (0.8-1.3lt)

Edit. Just phoned Mercedes as well. mine takes 1litre for which they want £42.24, although they didn't have stock (not that i was going to buy it) and it's on back order
Spec is 235.7 75w-80 in case that helps anyone else

Fuchs is probably the factory fill oil anyway . I’ve used it in both my cars gearboxes and diffs . I can’t be paying the MB diff oil price when I change the diff oil every 35k

I think MB have given you the wrong information - no great surprise.

All of the approved 235.7 oils are 75w85 not 75w80. I doubt you would find a GL5 75w80 and I've never heard of that grade being suitable for a diff as it's too thin.

Assuming they got the 235.7 correct then the MB approved oil that I would use is Fuchs sintopoid FE 75w85 which shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Sorry my typo should read 75W-85. I'll correct the original
Oh. I can't any more! anyway you are correct.

When changing diff oil make sure you can get the fill plug out BEFORE you drop the oil out. Trying to fill it through the drain plug hole could be a tad difficult.
I have a a 57 year old VW, I'm familiar with the 'fill plug out first' procedure ;)

I have put new oil in my engine only to see it run straight out. I was so keen to let every drop out over 20 minute period I forgot to put the drain plug back !!!
