Hi my GLC amg s coupe has plenty of power but you can never have too much.

I’ve tried reaching out to Performmaster for a quote 2/3 times and nothing back. Does anyone know the rough price and if there’s a UK partner ? I tried Renntech and they couldn’t hell

Failing that I’m looking at the Speed Buster CTRS With 618 PS & 840 NM, has anyone got experience with this unit?

I’ve used the tdi tuning boxes in the past and they’re ok but I’m not convinced with the power gains.

Thanks all for any advice or suggestions

I've used TDI Tuning boxes a few times....always been happy with the result. Backup when stuff goes wrong is good too.

MSL is our go to when it comes to tuning. Worth a call 📞 to see what they can do for you. If your far away, they can also do remote tuning too with hand held device that they sell.

Pam, you don’t mention the age of the car. If it’s newish then I’d personally stick with the big name Mercedes tuners.

Brabus would be my first choice or perhaps Renntech if you fancy a big name at a lower price point (sale on now too), or Weistec are the best value big name right now (albeit less well known.

If it’s a few years old then MSL or GAD tuning are both good shouts.

Apologies is 28/12/2018 car but being approved used it has 2 year warranty which I want to retain. I’ve got a deposit down on the new G63 when it’s released but guessing it’s still 2 years out so really need to keep the warranty. Otherwise I’d go straight to MSL.

Nice.

If warranty is important then I’d speak to Sandown Brabus:

Ran a Brabus D6, tuning box for a number of years never had a problem with them

Brabus tuning boxes generally offer a good deal less extra power and torque than a remap from one of the established tuners, but if you want to retain the warranty, there's no other option.
