Windscreen wash bottle - leaking. 2nd pipe seems to have snapped.

Merc A class 2020.
Windscreen wash bottle from what I can see (hard to see under wheel arch) has got the main pipe where the water feeds the washers BUT there also a small black pipe with what looks like a tap on it. Thats snapped.
So it leaks from this.

What is that pipe for?
