Hi I have a 2006 320 CDI and a windscreen wiper intermittent and full wipe has stopped working. Single press and wash work with no problems. I don’t think I have a rain sensor on my car. I tried swapping the relay. Didn’t know how to test it. I checked the fuse for continuity and still not working.
Assuming I pulled right ones. Just for sanity.
I believe the yelllow relay closest to fuse line is the wiper speed and that the red fuse 40amp next to it. See pics
Any ideas ?

Could it be a faulty contact in the stalk? Not unknown for these to go bad. Replace the stalk is usually the only way to fix it.

Using a diagnostic you can interrogate the front Sam and watch the data when you operate the switch. Subsequently you can actuate the wiper functions using the diag tool and if it works then everything from Sam outwards is fine, usually means it’s the switch that’s faulty.
