Found a c350 estate on eBay is this a real brabus and any info from any previous owners? Done typical mot checks etc looks high milage early on

A link to said vehicle would be handy.

Someone has gone to a lot of expense and trouble to add the parts if its not a real Brabus.

Should have read the whole advert instead of just looking at the photos.
The seller clearly states its a Brabus D6S conversion and a diesel.
So effectively, Brabus don't make the car, just convert Mercedes cars to their spec.
Whether this was done by Brabus or aftermarket , no idea.

It looks very much like someone went to a lot of effort to make a vague facsimile for those who don't know any better, using the mantra of "the more badges there are the more genuine it is". I'm struggling to see any genuine Brabus parts there.

It went up at £10k a couple of weeks ago - clearly nobody else was convinced either.

I'm sure that the D6S element is a genuine conversion, but all that amounts to is an overly expensive remap box that any MB dealer could supply and fit for you.

Or MSL could have easily matched for less than half the price. Brabus tuning boxes generally seem to result in a little bit less power and BHP than 'unofficial' MB tuners, with the main adavantage being that the warranty cover is maintained, but on that car, with 150K miles on it (wonder if the oil cooler seals have been done recently; it's likely nearing the end of the service life of its second set...) there's no question of any warranty. I was very happy with my MSL/BIg Fish Tuning-tuned CLS350SB diesel, but it wasn't an AMG, or anywhere near it; nor is that, and it's not ULEZ-compliant either.

A pretty penny must have been spent on the Brabus calipers, presumably, and all the Brabus cosmetic tat. Still, better that than an 'Affalterbach Special Edition' badge...

I fear they may just be repainted and rebadged C63 kit.

I'm not sure Brabus were bothering to change brakes by this point? All the press and in-world images I've seen of their B63 show the standard AMG brakes.

Pity he did not post a pic of the paperwork he says he has to back it up.
This ^^ that’s surely the most important photo.

My guess is that it probably has a D6 “chip” but probably nothing more, they don’t look like Brabus wheels, front splitter, steering wheel or door cards to me, just the standard items with a counterfeit badges stuck on - or generic after market in the case of the front splitter.

It looks like the front arches have been modified to me too.
