This car rings bells.....have we seen it before?Someone has gone to a lot of expense and trouble to add the parts if its not a real Brabus.
Could be. I've looked at too many cars on Autotrader just latelyThis car rings bells.....have we seen it before?
Me too....dunno why as we already have one more than we actually need.Could be. I've looked at too many cars on Autotrader just lately
That's what I was going on when the seller said it was a proper conversion.Pity he did not post a pic of the paperwork he says he has to back it up.
Or MSL could have easily matched for less than half the price. Brabus tuning boxes generally seem to result in a little bit less power and BHP than 'unofficial' MB tuners, with the main adavantage being that the warranty cover is maintained, but on that car, with 150K miles on it (wonder if the oil cooler seals have been done recently; it's likely nearing the end of the service life of its second set...) there's no question of any warranty. I was very happy with my MSL/BIg Fish Tuning-tuned CLS350SB diesel, but it wasn't an AMG, or anywhere near it; nor is that, and it's not ULEZ-compliant either.I'm sure that the D6S element is a genuine conversion, but all that amounts to is an overly expensive remap box that any MB dealer could supply and fit for you.
I fear they may just be repainted and rebadged C63 kit.A pretty penny must have been spent on the Brabus calipers,
This ^^ that’s surely the most important photo.Pity he did not post a pic of the paperwork he says he has to back it up.
