Good evening All, first time poster but I’m currently looking to join the AMG world in the form of a C63 estate.
It seems slim pickings atm but this one I find myself looking back at. The only thing is the owners seem high, but the condition does seem to suggest it’s been looked after. And the price seems good.
What would the experts opinion be on this and is the car perhaps know on here? Reg is KV14 MLN

Looks good. There is a lot you can buy between £18 and £25k that is all good. Id go for a car with a performance pack personally,..be rude not too!

Good luck in your search

As these cars get older the owners do get higher, I noticed the same when I was buying my S204 C63 wagon in 2021. It seems some cars have long term owners and some have owners who want a short fling to get the that V8 M156 experience and then move on.

I purchased mine with 50k miles on the clock and 5 owners if I remember correctly and its a 2012 model. I did all the usual checks and went over the service history with a fine tooth comb as that was the most important to me along with no mods. The car had a full digital MB / MB Indy history along with all the paper receipts to back up all the work that had been done since the car was bought and all with MB parts. The car also came with matched premium tyres all around which is another good sign of decent ownership. I saw many examples with cheap mismatched tyres that you've never heard off.

The one you're looking at looks nice, love the tan interior, very rare to see. Good luck with the hunt,

To be honest I may be one of those short term owners looking for a M156 fling, as it’s really the E63 in estate form that I see being the long termer. But I just fancy a stint with a C63.
I’ll make some enquires and get more details on the service history and go from there, as that is a good point, they are 10 years old now so likely to see a few owners…potentially the same owner multiple times.

there aren’t much PPP estates about at the minute, and they seem to be into the 30k mark.
There is a Jap import one due in but no non auction photos yet

Handsome. It's worth focussing on the recent ownership history and servicing.
Cars change hands early on because of finance and company car shenanigans. Servicing is likely to be great at first, and ... not so great later.
So look to see how many times its changed hands in the second half of its life, and what servicing & repairs it's actually had between 40-60k

This is great advice, which I’ve actioned this morning with some internet sleuthing.

Last Merc service was at 45k which ties in with the MOT mileage in 2019. So I’ll will see if the dealer has some good records of its life between 2019 and now. Most likely it’s a specialist garage.

With a mix of main dealer and independent, the owners count and mileage, do the experts reckon the price is right?

From my limit time watching the market I’d say it is for a dealer….but like I say I’ve only started to properly watch the market in the last month

If it's "true" MB specialist, he will have put the service detail on the MB database records for the car.
Methinks it's reassuring that its been main dealer until 45k and 2019.
Can't comment on value for that spec - others have better knowledge.
Obvious question: is it the spec that YOU actually want?

Advert gone did you purchase?

Looked tidy and fair value.

No unfortunately not, it actually had sold and the advert hadn’t been taken down for a while. Seems to be a common theme!
Bit of the shame, but there will be others no doubt! And no doubt I’ll be pestering yourselves again if there’s anything I need clarity on

Have you made any progress in your search benpf? If not I’m here to encourage you along.

I bought one two weeks ago and can’t rate it highly enough. I’m constantly fighting the urge to go for a drive.
