Remap for a C220CDi six speed manual

Hi Guys - I have seen a number of posts about tuning boxes and re-maps, but nothing that quite answers the questions for my car.

There are a selection of companies offering BHP in the region of 170 - 180 following a remap with no negative affect to fuel economy (I have my doubts but not too concerned) - my main question is will the the rest of the car stand up to this power increase (i.e. gearbox, brakes, cooling system, turbo etc) or would the upgrade to a stage 2 clutch kit be the only needed mod?

We would happily remap the car without a neccesity for supporting mods...

We could data log the car before and after..

Plus our ecu tuning is fully insured..

We have joined forces with Olly at PCS (blackc55) so the remap would take place at one of the best Merc garages around..

Yeah, get a proper ecu remap rather than a tuning box.

Hmm, yet to see any insurance for remapping or tuning boxes that was worth the paper it was written on. Is yours different?
