Yes, it can be done. Instructions are in the handbook but I can't remember offhand exactly how to do it. It is done by pressing buttons on the centre consul somehow or other.

When I got my new ML with Xenons I was getting flashed repeatedly by oncoming cars. It was a dealer job to adjust them which was done under warranty. They are seemingly adjusted by electric motors but the dealer adjustment solved the problem.

Hi vg, I have an ML 270 CDi which I got new in March 04. It has now done 15,700 miles and had it's first service in July 05. It did not require the pads or discs to be replaced and no mention was made by the dealer regarding wear to these parts either.

Queried the 22/23mpg that I am getting when I put the ML 270CD in for its first service and the reply was: "that's not unusual - fairly normal" :( How do some folks manage 30mpg - I'll never know :confused:

No, if anything I drive a wee bit on the slow side and very rarely rev the engine hard - cos it's so bloomin noisy!

Fuzzer, had a quick look at the Avis web site - they are wee bit more expensive and no information on Sat Nav systems.

It is a portable system as far as I know - called 'Neverlost' I will need to clarify the availability of it before booking as I have had conflicting information from Hertz about it - according to the Web Site it is availabe in Toronto Airport, according to an email I got from Hertz at Toronto...

I think so as I still have to fill in a Reservation Confirmation form the same as the pay it up front option - but I don't know it there are any guarantees though!
