Beware that £99 offer is just for the DVD, if you require a license pin or the stealer to do it, they'll demand their hands greased or your credit card relieved further.
It's the outrageous cost involved that annoys me. If I can buy a new satnav with free maps for its life time for £100, or a phone with google of other maps for probably even less, why does Mercedes expect £187!
Not as good as it sounds, it's £99 for the DVD only, if you need a pin they are going to hit you for another charge on top again. I was quoted £187 for DVD and pin. Told them I'll stick with my iPhone and google maps.
I once hit a particularly nasty pot hole in Ireland and all the lights on the dash lit up like it was Xmas. I thought I'd done some major damage, but luckily a quick restart put things back to normal. It was a near brown trousers moment for awhile!
Surprised the Continental's are losing thread that quickly unless you like some spirited driving.
Is the ware on one side of the tyre? As I did have a similar issue with my E350 in the past . The tracking was out on the rear which was causing tyres to lose thread. Quick reset of the tracking...
I know a farmer in Ireland that had something similar happen to him. He had a very unfortunate malfunction of his muck spreader outside their door the next day dde0f
We've got an E class estate and a Yetti both get a lot more respect on the road than the wife's previous Citron and Yaris. Probably helped by the fact that local plod uses Yetti's and the Merc E is used by plod in other nearby areas.
