Evening all, I’ve searched but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.
My 2013 e220 on 66k is starting to have chain noise in a morning, it’s early not got to the horrendous sounds yet.
What I’m asking is can someone explain the chain tensioner location & is it easy to get to as I’d like to...
No I still haven’t done it. The leak seems to have slowed right down, not dripping on the drive anymore anyway. I’d still like to do it. How was it to do? Any tips?
I have 2 questions of anyone could be so kind to help me out.
I have an oil leak from around the oil filter housing, had the filter housing seals replaced twice but the leak is still present. Now I’m wondering if it’s coming from the pressure switch just underneath.
Can you just buy an o-ring...
Tried that but seems to do absolutely nothing. Although I’ve just read a guide on here which says slowly release the accelerator then wait 2 minutes then exit the car and get back in. How true that is I don’t know. I’ve just turned the key to pos 2, accelerator down for 15 secs then off then key...
As title says. Whilst driving the box seems to select either 4th or 5th to early. For example cruising at 30mph sometimes the gearbox will select 3rd then 4th then 5th, whilst in 5th obviously the rpm’s are low and the engine is almost at the point of stall.
has anyone experienced this or know...
Currently looking to change my front run flat tires out as I’m getting such a harsh ride and really bad tram lining. Can anyone recommend some good tyres? I was considering Michelin pilot sport 4s
thanks
I also forgot to say. On a newly laid road no pot holes i can take my hands off the steering wheel and it will stay straight. Old roads it’s horrendous for staying straight.
Hi. I’m wondering if someone knows about camber and toe because I have no idea.
I took my e220 amg sport for 4 wheel alignment as it was struggling to stay in a straight line. But the alignment has done nothing to the driving of the car. It follows the road all over. As soon as I hit a bump it...
This is what I mean, alarm bells are ringing to me. 90% sure it’s been clocked but the other 10% saying otherwise is the genuine discs & pads I removed from the front and rear.
The car came with 6 months RAC warranty who declined all the work that needed doing to it so I’ve had to foot the...
Thank you for your help. The reason behind me asking all of this was I know the EZS is showing 300k+ but when I did the discs & pads shortly after purchase they were genuine Mercedes parts. But with all the problems I’ve had in such short space of time especially the engine mounts which were in...
The 17k service @ Mercedes was done in 2015. I found some paperwork with one of the previous owners names on it whom I got I touch with via Facebook. He said he purchased it in 2016 which is on the paperwork I have & sold it a couple months later as he bought a c63. He said when he sold, the...
