not a chore in the winter as the aircon can be on while the heater is set to warm
I found KwikFit really good for my aircon service, They charged £44
They take the temperature at the vents at the start and at the end and if they havent got it colder by at least 3 C they dont charge you...

I would still think about leaving the wheels off for the winter though.

I think I have found some suitable screws and I am just giving the backing plates a coat of 303 aerospace protectant.

Have you got climate control (ie a digital display for the heating controls) then the 2 pollen filters are behind the glove box
Or if you have the manual dials then the pollen filter is in the footwell, under the glove box.
