Hello. So somebody told me that the OM615 and OM617 are so similar that they are basically interchangeable. So if you have say a car running a OM615, a OM617 will fit on the same mounts, fit on the same transmission and fit the 615 flywheel to use your old clutch or torque converter etc...

Yeah! Mine looks like the bottom link, with the chrome bezel and satin black pepperpot body! I have the om615 motor.

I already looked thru that stuff, that's the little manual package that usually comes on CD that I mentioned earlier in my first post. If you look tho, the owners manual section is actually missing, and they replaced it with a 230 gasser owners manual which is substantially different.
