Had a similar problem with a Porsche Cayenne S turbo. Cylinder head gasket test kit off eBay, less than £10, gave me the bad news. London cars, short journeys. Used to drill the oil filler cap 1mm on V8's and V6's to help them breath a little easier, worked a treat. Good luck!

Strong engines these, take more than a bit of mis fuelling to phase them. A couple of tanks later it'll be right as rain.

£20 off eBay for my W220 one, fitted in under 20 minutes, fixed my dodgy headlight.

Check if there's a coupla dummy holes to thread the torx bolts back in, tighten evenly and break the seal on the sump, from memory they're fitted to the 320 petrol.

Are you 100%sure it's not oil? From memory, these engines aren't fitted with a sump gasket, just a sealer which can break down over time and leak - bit of a pain to re do, messy job and specialist sealant required. Put the pics on if you get chance.

Another vote for iCarsoft MB v2. 0, around £130 off eBay but they very quickly pay for themselves - useful for checking out a car before you commit to purchase...

Take it to Staithes down at Gateshead, let them have a look - these guys are better than the main 'stealers'...

A shot in the dark this, might be the rear gearbox mount rubber failed, around £80 and 45 minutes work at any good garage (need a lift). Symptoms sound similar to ones I had when mine went, same gearbox, common fault.

Check all the connections carefully, my Brabus harness had a couple of broken wires on it - could be something as simple as that, picture attached...
