I have purchased a new black leather interior for my car and found the rear door trims are for electric windows. I have manual on my car and don't want to really convert to electric (cost and something else to go wrong). Does anyone know if I can get some blanking trim for the electric switch...

My 1986 W124 has the vertical CCU buttons - 3 of them, and the lights don't work on them. Are the bulbs replaceable? If so how do I do it?

Thanks Dieselman - I have the tachometer from a W124 diesel so I now need to get the amplifier board and the crank sensor. Is it a difficult job to do? Mine is a manual btw.

Can anyone help with information on retrofitting a tachometer to my 1987 W124 300D? - this is the first car I have had without one and I hate the big clock where the tachometer should be.
