Hi. The plastic connector plugs (connecting the wiring to plug into the sensors) on my 2001 W208 CLK 230K M111 Engine, are slowly disintegrating and coming loose from the sensors (particularly the MAF, throttle body and camshaft position sensor) I believe this is the reason I get fault codes...

Yes. They've been taken out and cleaned before with throttle cleaner. Are throttle bodies and recirculating air valve bodies prone to failure ? I've opened them up to clean and they seem very low electronic, high mechanical.

Hi. Does anyone here know is the Recirculating Air Flap for the M111 (230Kompressor) and the M271 are compatible and interchangeable ? I need to change mine on the M111 and found that in the US, the M271 one runs for about US$290 only. Thanks

$40 is a lot a difference just for length of wire. Are you sure there is no difference in resistance of sensor ? Thanks
