    W211 front number plate

    I need to change the front plate on a 2008 W211 estate, and it seems to be bent in the middle. I don't want to mess with it without knowing more - can anyone tell me if it is a specially formed plate, or can any plate be folded in the middle to fit? Many thanks for any help. w.
