Do you know what.. there was actually... the technician that sorted the issue was different to the original fitter and was very apologetic. Lesson learnt though.... get them to prove to me pre change that its working and then get them to show me after its still working..

so... its all sorted.. the technician came out after my 400th phone call and rant and it was the sensor not positioned in its housing correctly.. essentially it was too far off the screen... all sorted now and unlike before tested and shown to me..

ahhh that's what I'm worrying about now.... that there is no sensor fitted.... im just waiting for the windscreen people to call back and see which month they can come and look at it again...

Yeah.. i agree they should sort it out, but it just seems such a hassle with the windscreen people.... I had hoped that the top left may be the sensor for the wipers and the fitter has just left it un plugged..

Thanks for your answer JontyButts. Could you just tell me if the temperature set is the standard in car temp I had before I turn the engine off or is it set in a specific option in the car?

I did try that Kianok and again. I can set a time and activate it but theres no way of customising it to either heat or cool. Maybe it does have something to do with being plugged in. Im baffled.

Ahh right... I did wonder this... I still don't see any way of setting it to either warm up or cool down.
