All the dry sump Astons are the M178 and the wet are M177.
It's not bad driving a car that shares the same engine as a Valhalla and the gearbox with a Ferrari F8.
I read the BS uses a different crank which is flat plane instead of cross plane. I’m not really sure of the advantages but apparently it doesn’t sound as V8 gruntty, not that I’d turn one down.😁
I am happy to have my posts stalked because at least I get replies.
Yes I agree there are tons of things you could buy for these and one I like is the uprated virtual dash and centre screen.
Mine is a 2018 so maybe all the new ones don't. The DCT in the GTC is the same as the 7 speed in some of the Aston Martins and Ferraris like the 488 and F8.

I am looking for a rear wing like the GTRs for my GTC convertible but it isn't an easy task with all the poor quality products out there. Ideally it needs to be carbon and I will be getting the based sprayed to match the car like most OEM ones are. This is one I found with good reviews but I am...
I have a Foxwell NT710 scanner that I will try out tomorrow to see if it shows oil pressure. I guess it will only work if there is an electronic sensor collecting that data and if so why didn't AMG have this as a read out in the first place...
Would a 2018 have the same CPU tuning issues.
I intend to get the downpipes fitted and in the Summer an Eventuri intake. After that a custom tune to match.
First thing was replacing the injectors and next is getting the solenoid mod done which I’m sure would help any mods regarding reliability.
I am trying to do a check on my oil pressure for a 178 V8 engine and wanted to know if there is anything that could be used on a temporary basis?
I did look to see if P3 did a nice vent gauge for the AMG GT platform but they only do them for A and B series models which is probably due to economy...
