Our cars develop a lot of torque low down in the rev range, so there's no need to rev the nuts off them. In fact I've found that it's generally better to be in a higher gear than you'd think. Our gearboxes aren't very quick to change, so avoiding that more than compensates for the slight dip...

Unfortunately the C63 is very heavy, so I take it fairly easy on the brakes, except for the big stop into the first corner, obviously.:D Only did relatively short stints too. And laps of the paddock to cool the brakes down afterwards of course;) Honestly, I was expecting that 997 to come...
