I'm after a gearbox control pressure bowden cable for a 1995 c280 auto, anyone got one? I believe it may well be the same part number for a early w202 autos

Anyone know the part number for the gearbox control pressure cable for a 1994 c280? Seems mine has snapped near the throttle linkage. Is it easy to replace?

No kickdown at all

That's for later electronic boxes. Mine is a 94 so has the early type 4 speed. So on way to work this morn this is what it does: From stone cold for a few mins it would rev up to higher revs when gunning it but once warm it up shifts before 3k all the time regardless of if switch is in S or E...

Hmmm read a few threads on other forums about early upshift To 4th, no kick Down etc same symptoms as mine and has ended up being major gearbox issues! Great. The cars only done 79k too. Grrrr

I've just picked up a 1994 c280 auto. It's drives fine other than the kickdown doesn't seem to work and having the selector button on S or E seems to make no difference and the car will upshift at fairly low revs even If the switch is in 'S', rather than holding the gear till higher up the revs...

I have just acquired a 1997 c200 manual and have a slight issue with it. It starts and runs fine in general but the power surges on and off throughout the rev range. Will pull too the limiter but throughout the revs the power delivery kinda feels on-off-on-off. Any ideas what it could be? Car...
