Got a spare, albeit heavily kerbed, rim that I can use for the moment. Will put the damaged rim to one side and get it welded when I have the money to get them all refurbished. Sounds exactly like the crack you had, i.e. '1cm vertical to the circumference of the inside rim'.

Yep, mine is quite similar although a little closer to the edge of the windscreen.

Whilst out yesterday I noticed a new dent in the roof of my W209 but have no idea what could have caused it. Although fairly shallow it's a palm sized dent just back from the edge of the windscreen. Something must have hit it fairly hard but the paint is unmarked and I didn't see or hear...

Is that just on the W211 as the W209 just needs a cable plugging in to the aux socket on the back of the Audio 20?

My recently purchased CLK appears to have a few small paint spots on the leather interior. Can anyone recommend a way to remove them without damaging the seats?

I got anywhere from 8,000 to 38,000 from the original Sport Contacts depending on whether MB Germany, MB Head Office or an assortment of dealerships last did the tracking and wheel alignment on my 120 Sport.

I'm just a bit confused as to what it did actually have as it was serviced religiously every year and 10k miles (-ish) except for this one aberration of two years and nearly 20k miles. I guess there is no way to know for sure sadly.
