    Hi, I'm selling some stuff for my dad on ebay and a front and rear set of grey ribbed floor mats for the 2000-2006 CL is amonst it. Great condition with the passenger and rears hardly used.     Poss to fit 205/R16/55/W instead of 215's

    I am looking for help in confirming if it is safe/legal to fit a smaller/narrower tyre. I have been told by Coscto tyre folk (who only fit Michelins,) that the 'SLR' spec says it is OK to fit 205's instead of 215's to 1999 E Class Saloon. Anyone have any advice please?
