I have a E320 on a 99 The centre console lid is broken - is this a common problem, is there a mod in order to reattach or just pick up a used one from ebay ? It looks like the plastc hinge has broken on one side. Cheers

I'm possibly going to buy on of these for the w211. The one that I have seen has the MB UHI fittings on. I'd want to remove these to use the handset holder for my phone. Has anyone got any idea how easy this would be? Or would it/I end up destroying the console in the process?

Just picked up a 1979 450SL with red interior, most of the interior is in good condition except for the centre console and handbrake cover, both have faded badly. Does anyone know how these two items can be brought back to their original colour or where replacements can be obtained from? Thanks
