Just swapped my 19mpg BMW 330i Petrol Touring for a 2004 E 320 Cdi Estate in the hope that it would be much cheaper to run. It's a new car to me, so I've given it the beans a few times, but I'm only getting 19mpg on the readout. I thought these were around 35 mpg? Remap? Chip?

Starter motor does its stuff (turns over?) but the engine doesn't fire. I tried this four or five times. The last time I tried the fuel gauge went up to full and then slowly declined to empty. Any ideas? :(
