Just fitted one these to my 210 pretty good. Uses i pod for the music source and transmits signal to comand via the aerial lead. Fitted as i am sick of the unreliable cd changer and to mean to spend £300 on a new one. Bought from mbclub member for £25, they are on e bay for not much...

Bought one of these last year, but never fitted (I use my iPod through a TomTom now) - it is boxed, as new - I have opened it to test, using my iPod Classic - it works just fine - apparently it will work with an iTouch (select music on iTouch before connecting) £20 + pp and it's yours...

I've often wondered what the difference is beween both systems. They're clearly supposedly better than ordinary MB Systems. Why are they better and what components do they have? Is it just the speakers or are the Comand head units any different?

Im selling my HK Kit http://www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/default_dp1.aspx Its used but works perfectly as new. Works with any stereo as if you dont have a spare Aux Input, it goes between the aerial connection and you just porgram it to a frequency of your choice. £30 delivered....

Is it possible to upgrade a command system to the Bose or Harmon Kardon spec and what is involved? Is there really that much difference in the sound?

I have a 2004 W209 facelift fitted with the OEM Harmon Kardon upgrade and a MB 6CD changer in the glove box. Anyone know if this has an ipod auxillary socket or how to connect an ipod adapter?
