I'm carrying out some maintenance and I have removed the resonance valve. 94 SL 3.2
It has a rubber nipple by the electrical connection, that just vents to the atmosphere, when I suck it operates the valve. Is this correct? I can't find a loose vacuum pipe it could connect to.
Hi Everyone. My 1994 E220 Coupe developed a misfire which was cured by changing the ECU. The wiring to the coilpacks is in good condition, so I assumed the fault was with the coil packs themselves and changed them. I'd like to try to repair the original ECU. The MB part number is 016 545 55 32...
What is the best head gasket to use on the 124 3.2 gents, any improvement on what MB offer and if not any part numbers to look for. I am doing this for the second time.

Today I looked more carefully and found that...
My car has been stood still awhile but I've just MOT'd the old girl after failing on springs and brake pipes last Xmas. Now with a new proper spec battery, she warmed up fine and drove ok for the brake disc clean up.
I then set off for the test and the revs started playing up surging up and...
As above I need a section of loom for the coilpacks if anyone has it. I am quite happy to take a full engine harness - but it must be 100% spot on. Mine looked perfect right up to the point where it entered the engine inside the rubber insulation.
I have the part number for the coil ends...
