    Any users of Icarsoft i980?

    Just got one of these code readers and wonder if anyone has any tips (the instructions are VERY basic, both printed and on-line), please? Specifically it's the OBD2 function menu that I could do with a few pointers on - I'll be using it on a W203 and a W211.

    I do any of you out there know if you can monitor the gearbox temp using the icarsoft diagnostics machine, I am looking at changing and fluid and this is the only thing I'm struggling to sort before doing the job? Many thanks

    ICarsoft 980 - any good?

    I know nothing is going to be a substitute for STAR but i`ve always found it useful to be able to scan for faults myself before taking a car to the garage so with that in mind has anyone actually used/got the ICarsoft 980 and is it any good?

    iCarsoft i980 to view DPF information

    Has anyone who owns a i980 scanner used it to view information from the DPF, ash, sooth levels etc? Or is this function only available on a STAR? I'm trying to work out the reason for my bad consumption stats. 30mpd on a 250CDI engine.

    Hi Has anyone on here got or used the icarsoft i980? I am after an answer as to how it performs on a facelift 2005 CLK Any advise or opinion will be welcomed. Thanks:thumb:
