Hi Anyone got a good recommmendation for a book/books/disc with "how to drive" etc etc? Daughter is progressing well..... TIA

My 17 yo daughter has just got her provisional licence, having got a quote for her on my old E240 of heaps, I thought that my wifes Ford Focus would be better, but she still ramps her premium from £390 to £2200 !!!!!! Anyone know of any company at all that doesn't want the keys to my house...

Anyone know of something cheap and chearful lurking in a mates shed/garage? Just after something for Mrs Sp!ke to play on for a couple of months to gain confidence before she does her direct access.

My Wife finally wants to learn to drive:eek: All my vehicles are full comprehensive. Do I need to make any extra insurance arrangements whilst teaching her to drive? Any information gratefully received. Paul.

My daughter is approaching 17 so we're looking for a car for her to learn on. Must be cheap to insure, so something like a Nissan Micra, Corsa, Polo, Pug 106, Daewoo Matiz, 2CV or similar. Probably in the price range £100 to £1000 but I might be persuaded to spend more for something interesting...
