    I recently purchased an ELM327 (rev.3) ODB interface cable off eBay as a recent vehicle inspection threw up a fault in one of the O2 sensors on my E-Class. I wanted to do a few checks myself (clean cable connections, etc.) and then see if the fault cleared before replacing the sensor itself...

    So I've had then engine check light on for a few weeks now, though the car seems to run ok. I bought a USB ODB2 scanner from Ebay (great seller and product btw - if anyone is interested in buying let me know) and read the fault code. This is what I got back: P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)...
