Also had new Avon ZV7 tyres fitted.
Not a lot of miles yet but so far excellent.
Also took the car into ATS, again in Bury St Edmunds, for a wheel...
The wife decided to kerb the brand new wheel I had replaced 3 months ago when I hit a pot hole. I don't remember the last time either of us kerbs a wheel so I can't complain too much really.

The oval exhaust tip on my R129 has seen better days. It was painted black from factory and years of driving have left it looking like sh*te and it's really letting down the look of the back end.
To buy a new oval AMG tip costs over £200, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a company who...
After 2 weeks of ownership of my lovely 2006 CLK 350 I have sorted my tatty AMG wheels out which was the only thing that let the rest of the car down which is close to mint condition.

What sort of money would I be looking at to get all four 18" standard E55 wheels refurbished?
Mine seem to have corrosion and they aren't too bad now but are heading in the wrong direction.
I am contemplating changing them so this may end up being used as man maths if very expensive!

Ladies and Gents,
I recently bought a 52 plated 500SL that has some signs of wear on the seat (snug fitting things they are), along the stiching. Can anyone propose a product that will feed and restore the leather but not end up on my clothes.
Thanks in advance
Martyn
Three of the wheels on my 1989 W107 still look good, but one looks like it has been cleaned with wire-wool (photo below). Anyone know how I can fix it? Is it a DIY job or is there a good recommended company near Kingston upon Thames?
Hi,

Thank you in advance.

A lot of people that i have spoke to have told me if you sand alloys back to bare metal it is important to prime them with etch primer as it eats in to the alloy and adheres better.
However i have bought a wurth wheel spray kit which consists of rust-stop primer x2,laquer spray special silver...
Following on from Jay's and SilverSaloon's labours of love I am joining these lunatics in spending unfeasible amounts of time and money restoring my C124.

We have two-tone biscuit/black nappa leather seats....the biscuit in particular is starting to look grubby and a bit jaded. I attach photos (although these make the leather look better than it is!).
Can anyone recommend a treatment that will renovate these seats back to "as new" condition...
