I recently bought a W203 C 270 CDi Estate and the shocks are dead. I want to replace them and my main goal is comfort rather than sportiness/stiffness.
Does anyone have any experience with these?
I found the Koni shocks at a slight cheaper so that might be a plus if it all comes...

Looking to buy some replacement front shocks for my 1998 W210 avantgarde. Mercedes want 125 quid each (part number 210 323 49 00)
I can only find the Sachs part number for standard suspension not avantgarde - anyone got any ideas ??

I bought new shock absorbers from the main dealer parts counter, and the they're branded SACHS but come in a Mercedes box. Came all the way from Germany too. The sticker on the unit shows the following numbers:
82 4904 000 578m
203 320 72 30
How can I find the equivalent SACHS part...
ECP only list one Sachs front shock for all 211's whilst MB have a specific variant for the sport. Given the current ones are likely very tired at 126k miles so I'm reasoning that anything new must be better, what's the jury's verdict on new OE v the (much cheaper) Sachs aftermarket equivalent?
