    Clk280 convertible. 2005 slipped tooth

    Hi all. I have the option to buy a mercedes w209 2005 clk280 101k miles for £600. The engine seems to have slipped a tooth and doesnt start. The assumption is that the chain has slipped, a number of valves have bent hence the owner wants to get rid. Ive been reading about these engines...

    CV boot slipped off...mechanic at fault?

    I have just noticed that the small ring clip circled below (not actual photo) has separated from the rubber boot.I had the whole cv joint replaced in August and noticed a 'crackling' noise straight away, as though it was being over stretched. Thought I would see how it goes in case the rubber...

    Tires slipped!!

    Hey everyone, Yesterday it was raining hard and something odd happened to my S-class. I was driving uphill and suddenly accelerated fully. As i accelerated hard, the tires just slipped and the car got like a "shock" before accelerating back.There was a warning sign with an exclamation mark...
