Still running in the C63 Estate and just completed a trip on the weekend from NW London to Dorset. On the way down got 22mpg and on the way back 24. Fairly sensible driving but with a few hefty accelerations now and again. Will be interested to see whether I can exceed 24.

Whist searching for some information for another member I stumbled across a reference to MBClub. It appears to date from 2004, so early days for the club, and was written by Honest John on behalf of the Telegraph - and MBClub is refered to in the section about "what's good" about the W211...

I have just had a Notice of Intended Prosecution in the post for doing 82mph on dual carriageway A303. Logged into the site and can see a picture of the E55 with the top banner quoting the 82mph and stating I was 480m away - did not know they had such a long range ............... Anyone know...
