Help! engine shake/cough 2012 c220 cdi w204
Hi guys, Really hoping someone can help me here. Bought a c220 cdi sport 3 weeks ago with 89k on clock, privately. Test drive was fine, paperwork all ok, so did the deal and drove it home, no issues. The very next day, when i started the car i felt a shake from the car...then again... -

C180 Kompressor (2006) - replace timing chain?

M271 cam adjuster/timing question
Grateful for some advice if someone can help. I have a S203 with the M271 engine in 180K guise on a 53 plate. It's covered a reasonably trouble-free 120K mostly motorway miles and up until now has been MB dealer serviced, but home fixed if anything has failed. E320 engine blown. Recommendations requested.
Disaster has struck! Timing chain and/or chain tensioners have broken. Either way, the engine went "BANG" and died. The tappets no longer work, no compression to speak of and the hood is still down - so there is no doubt on the diasgnosis nor of my predicament. The questions are: - what to do...
