Used once or twice - doesnt support 1999 W210 diesel (only 2001? onwards? - dont quote me) :o:( will support all newer stuff - generally reccomended on here as new. manual has scribbled pinout on it includes 38 pin to obd connector £50 inc p&p

I have a U581 code reader and have used it on a few different cars and it loads up the data quickly,however I have a MY 07 220 CDI CLK and it goes through the process then when it gets to "uploading data" it seems to freeze. does anyone with a U501 and has used it on an MB had a similar result...

Following pics scanner plugged into my car after short town run then left standing for 1/2 hour before i remembered to get the camera out. U581 from e bay £60/70 plus cheapo 16pin to 38 pin adaptor £10. Sys 1 and 2 using ho2s means engine and cats up to temp as now operating in closed loop...
