MOST ring Wake-up

W203 D2B wakeup
I noticed the other day that my car doesnt have a "D2B wakeup". Is it only for the phone ? Is it a ring that follows the optical loop or is it a single connection? Would anyone like to explain to me where it starts and ends ?- miro
