Can anyone tell me where to locate the wastegate on my w203 220? Especially the cables that go to it. The garage diagnosed the issues I've had (lack of power, no kickdown) with a sticking wastegate which they say they have lubricated. Surely it can't be that simple?!

Hi, Is it possible to increase the boost value/ pressure on a W210 E class? E300TD. At the moment the wastegate open at about 16 PSI once the ECU see this kind of pressure, but I can lock it and go up to 26 PSI :D( zoom zoom) , but then ECU shut the boost after that( it must be freaking out...

My engine management lights keeps coming on when the car revs above 4500. The fault code always relates to the supercharger wastegate. Where is this, is this a common fault, how do I overcome it. Cheers

Hello My engine management light recently came on whilst overtaking. Upon investigation the following fault description was unveiled.... "Wastegate Solenoid A Supercharger" In laymans terms, what does this mean? Is it expensive to repair. Is it easy DIY to repair. Thanks for all help given
