    wd40 or grease

    Looking at my door hinges/locks,boot lock,bonnet catch,wiper mechanism i think they all need lubricating so question is should i use proper grease or is wd40 ok?

    WD40 on alloy wheels

    Bought a new can of WD40 - on the side it says you can use it to "shine" alloy wheels. Has anyone tried this? What sort of technique did you use? Did it work? I'd be a bit worried about spraying it near the friction surfaces, so apply with a cloth and polish off presumably? Thanks
