Is it just me who wonders why anybody would pay £300k for this? :wallbash:

Mercedes-Benz S Class S63L 4dr Auto [Executive] 5.5 EXTREMELY RARE CAR.

So it's based on an S63 AMG (which you can pick up from about £35,000-£40,000 now) with an upgraded engine and a load of carbon fibre and iPads and other business gadgets crammed into it.

I've seen a similar colour interior on a 1970's Austin Allegro:

I saw that yesterday in their Baker St garage while I was looking at a CLS they have for sale, looked really good IMO

Your missing the point, its a genuine Brabus iBusiness with: 838bhp

It will destroy any other car on the road pretty much. That said with the new S-Class out I reckon its only worth in the region of £200k ;)

And the very one presented at the 2013 IAA in a word premiere.!! With only 10mls on the clock

That was prob around the £450k mark when it was bought...!

What a lovely Allegro. Probably rarer now than a Brabus!

Another thread on the price of a rare Brabus for sale by Mayfair... Couldn't possibly be.

Question is...

Will it blend? :D

Surely you could buy an S63 and tune it up to the order of 838BHP for a lot less money than that...

No way. The brown wrap looks pretty horrific and the yellow interior... :fail

Had it been black or silver with a black interior keeping its classy executive roots and all the additional power kept subtle then I bet it would be a great car to own. Sadly with the silly wheels, vinyl wrap, silly badges, horrific interior I'd run a mile.

Never knew you could pick up a S63 for £35-40k though, I'm looking at CL's and the £12-15k range is all '02-'05. Sadly the S class is too big especially considering I'd never use the back seats. I also really like the CL600 - V12 bi-turbo sleeper...

Thats not a wrap!

A £450k ultra rare car with only 10 miles on the clock for £299k is a bit of a bargin to be honest :)

If I had the spare cash I know I would :dk:

I think some of the guys here completely miss the point of this exclusive sofa with a supercar engine. To an untrained eye it looks like your bog standard 35-40k Mercedes, which serves the purposes for something this unique and expensive very well. The leather is one of the softest and most inviting there is, the CF works well with dark dash and mustard leather goes well with brown paintwork. Try and order something like this from BRABUS and you're looking at many, many weeks of leadtime and here you have it in stock, ready to drive away. The seller clearly knows what he is doing and who his customers are.

Never knew it was a Brabus version however, lets say I like what they've done with the power plant and dislike everything else they have done to the car - if I had a choice of that or a S63, I'd take the S63... That's just my opinion though and to each their own. :)

I know the CL isn't a small car by any means like my CLK however, it must be a bit smaller than a LWB S class - which S55 AMG and S600s appear to all be. As I never carry passengers the S class would be pointless for me. I am no expert on the CL, I will be looking to buy one this summer though.
