Well my car has just gone over 100,000 miles and I've put over 95,000 of those on it myself and with the exception of service items and tyres the only things that have needed changing are drop links, upper and lower suspension arms (and I put that down to the naff roads I used to travel over to get to my old job) and the breather hose on the super charger.
The only other car I've put this amount of miles on was a Rover 214 and at the same number of miles it had needed a water pump, head gasket (head needed skimming) and a gearbox.
So all in all I can't complain with the running costs of the Mercedes and hope the next 100k are as uneventful
