12 point socket?!

im about to atempt to replace the rear wheel bearing on my 89 250d estate . Where can i buy the socket to remove the nut on the end of the drive shaft , its a bumpy nut rather than the normal type cheers Ben

Oops! Read the title and suggested 6 point sockets were better without reading the purpose Ben wanted the socket for.

if anyone else needs to know it's a 30 mm splined socket it's lucky the spotty youth in halfords could find out
